You must be amazed by the name Pillu, it’s actually a street dog who actually been named Pillu by all the guards. I must say he is blessed with very special and sharp features which distinct him from all others street dogs. May be that is the reason that he enjoys a special attention from everybody around. In fact even the passerby’s give him a second look.
There is one more unique thing about him. He is a very friendly and tricky dog. I am amazed how he manages to take away the bread among his senior dogs who constantly keeps him away through their sharp canines.
Here I would like to mention an incident. There is free land area where all these dogs enjoy there leisure time and if anybody from the locality wants to give some eatables, the play ground is the most likely place to be place them. Once I threw some chapattis there for Pillu as he the youngest one among all the dogs. But I felt very bad when all the other bigger dogs dragged Pillu away from the field to grab the chapptis.
The dogs were powerful but at the same time they were fool enough as they couldn’t locate where the chappatis were. Pillu was watching all this outside from the field, hungry and patient. I felt very sorry for him but couldn’t help him besides watching all this from my balcony. Suddenly I noticed that the body language of Pillu changed suddenly. He started wagging his tail and changed the whole chemistry of his body into an amazingly very friendly one. Slowly one of the dogs who earlier dragged him out of the field came near to him. Both of them talked in a strange language and then he welcomed Pillu inside the field.
There were sudden elderly looks in the bigger dog’s eyes as if an elder brother takes care of the younger one. Then he went to a corner of the field and relaxed there. Pillu being the keen observer knew where I threw the chappatis came running to that place and picked it up. But his struggles not ended here as soon as he picked one chappati the other dog ran after him in a furious manner and dragged him away but this time Pillu succeed to bring the chappati out with him from the field. It seemed as if that field a served a kind of border line for them and once the Pillu was out of it none of the dog chased him. After finishing the chappti, Pillu again patiently watched the other dog. Slowly he dared to enter the field and again that strange friendly attitude was been adapted by him.
I was thrilled to see what was happening. To my surprise Pillu managed to be friends with the other dog as well in the same manner as he did with the other one. After that he found the other chappati and enjoyed that fearlessly sitting in the field right in front of the nose of the both furious, wild dogs. Watching all this made me realize that Pillu is never going to sleep hungry as he is tricky enough. This was some which I saw for the very first time. The best example of the “Fittest will survive”. Pillu knew the art of turning the things in his favor no matter how big the problem is.
Even now whenever I have to give some chapaati to him all I have to do is give a whistle and he appears with that sweet innocent look in his eyes and face. Some time when I wake up in the morning I see Pillu waiting for my open window. As soon as he sees me he wags his tail and waits for my conversation to him. No matter how sleepy I am at that time I ask Pillu to wait meanwhile I prepare a chappati for him in case there is nothing leftover of the last night. He sits there waiting there only till I throw him some eatable.
Who makes these street animals learn all those tricks but certainly Pillu made me learn so much that day. Its not always that you have to fight for every single thing. You can turn achieve any thing with your good nature and of course patience is the key to success.
No, I am not talking about Sharukh Khna's production company. I am a regular viewer of MTV. Every week they select a person from the youth of India as a “youth icon”. Now this person is not an ordinary in terms of his ambitions and deeds. He is the one who has really done something on his own and has the capability of turning the world upside down. One thing which amazed me most was when asked to say something to the youngsters of India all of them had only one thing to say "Think Big". I felt like it is some mantra or some kind of black magic which always works for any one who follow it religiously.
Dreams are not those which you see while sleeping, Dreams are those which don’t let you sleep.
I completed My MBA, did job, took a break after my marriage as wanted to give time to my family. After few months even though felt like "let’s start with a new job" I was not sure whether I would be able to manage every thing. I mean tight schedules, deadlines, home, cooking and eating healthy u know every field requires perfection in it. Thinking all this I finally dropped the idea of working and got my self indulged in my hobbies like writing and reading. Even after having now so much of the leisure time I was not able to enjoy it. A constant thought which bothered me was that I am not utilizing my abilities to the fullest. I always wanted to do something for which I am made for. Of course writing always gave me immense sense of satisfaction, but may be that’s not enough for me. I know I have much more to explore within myself.
Then I really concentrated upon this mantra of "Thinking big". Although there was no options, no paths, no clues of how it will happen but I kept telling myself that all of them are there right in front of me. I wanted something where I can manage my family, my work, my hobby without blaming anyone of them for the other. And you know what? This Black Magic worked for me as well. 2009 gave me the gifts which I never imagined. I was been offered by a company Xtremeheights, to join them as the Relationship Manager. And the best part was that I can work from home. I was totally aghast thinking how my dream has worked so accurately. I was been given both designation and time for my family and now I think that I am able to manage everything more perfectly than what I did when I had ample of time. I think that the best comes in the scarcity.
I was more than happy, but was not confident about the responsibilities. As soon as the thought started creeping inside me I chopped it and once again told myself I am the best Relationship Manager been ever selected in any of the company. I am proud to be a part of the Appointy which is a produst of Xtremeheights only as the company not only grows but let us also grow with it.
Now as my orkut link says besides being a home-maker, writer I am a relationship Manager too. Yes guys, the formula work every time. All you have to do is to make your self believe that you are the most deserving candidate for the opportunity. I totally agree with the words of one of the honorable ministers of India that low and negative thinking is a crime and the one who entertains it, should be punished. You know who he is, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
What are you waiting for? Your life has limited chapters; let’s carve each one of it with the golden pen.
